The HOME Alliance invites you to join an upcoming webinar exploring the growing risks and impacts of land-based geoengineering. We will hold two sessions to accommodate various timezones to bring together civil society actors, researchers, and campaigners to critically examine:
- Impacts and risks of land-based geoengineering technologies and key projects
- Policy spaces where geoengineering is being pushed
- How civil society is doing to resist this dangerous distraction
We will also launch our new civil society toolkit on land-based geoengineering, designed to:
- Build understanding of key technologies
- Highlight risks and impacts
- Support advocacy and resistance efforts
While the two sessions will cover the same core content, each will feature regional specific case studies and projects, ensuring a shared global understanding alongside regional insights.
