HOME alliance is much in favour of the call for an International Solar Geongineering Non-Use Agreement (SGNUA).

This call was initiated by leading academics and scholars of global environmental governance. There are more 520+ researchers from both natural and social sciences uniting in the call for Non-Use.

Because of the enormous and unpredictable risks from deployment as well as the fact that solar geoengineering is ungovernable, increasing numbers of governments, civil society organisations, Indigenous Peoples and academics are calling for the strongest possible assertion that this technology shall never be used.
